Ciao from beautiful Roma! My son and I are wrapping up a few days in the Eternal City before we head north to meet up with the rest of the family. It's been a great adventure so far and I can't wait to share more with you.

• ​Universal travel adapter - We use this every day at home and on every trip - it really cuts down on packing for electronics thanks to the variety of charging ports and international compatibility - I use the 100W version because it directly charges my laptop

• ​Electronic doodle pad - For when they want a screen but you don't! Weighs so little I forget I have it in my purse.

Remember: Take advantage of the deals to spend less money for the things you need, but don't go crazy on items that will collect dust just because it's a good price.
