Hey Reader,

Happy Friday! We made it ๐Ÿ™Œ

Your inbox is probably drowning in "pre Black Friday deals of a lifetime" and gift guides right now. Meanwhile, you're just trying to finalize the Thanksgiving menu and clean the house before family arrives. I'm in the same boat over here so I promise this will be quick!

But if you have a teen who travels, I made something to help you out: a gift guide created WITH my 14-year-old, not just FOR him.

He had some pretty strong opinions about what teens actually want versus what parents think they want. I tried to keep it relatively low-tech but added a few of his favorites as a compromise ๐Ÿ˜‰

If you feel like your kids are already loaded up with stuff - mine definitely are - one of my favorite ideas is to gift an experience on your next trip... something that's really for them that you wouldn't ordinarily do. I've rounded up my favorite teen-friendly tours and activities - from zip-lining to street art tours to behind-the-scenes stadium visits. We've actually done most of them or have them booked for our upcoming travels! #viatorpartner

Also new: Costa Rica with Kids on the podcast

Our spring break trip trip had everything - zip-lining through the rainforest, sloth spotting, volcanic hot springs, and beach time at an incredible resort.

I'm sharing the complete experience: hidden gems in the Central Valley that most tourists skip, our favorite La Fortuna activities, and how we saved thousands using points and miles.

Happy travels,

Melissa
